Ember Lab – Fall 2026
Spark Innolab is an approved Home Education Instructional Program (HEIP) with Step Up For Students in Florida. We accept direct-pay through EMA.
Welcome to the Ember Lab
This program allows 10 to 12 year olds to sample the topics we offer for teens at Spark. This is not watered down STEM. Younger students are exposed to the same expert teacher and quality equipment as our teens, with more age-appropriate projects.
At Spark, we believe youth are capable of amazing things at much younger ages than many people expect. Students enrolled in this program should have intrinsic interest in STEM topics, and the emotional maturity to focus for the length of their program. They should be able to read and write, and have basic keyboarding skills. Class size is limited to 8 students!

We offer multiple options for our Embers Students:
Embers Tinkercad (1 hour)
Embers Engineering Sampler (2 hours)
Embers Smorgasbord (4 hours)
Embers Level 2 (2 hours)
Supplies. Each student will need a laptop (not a chromebook or tablet) with a USB port (or adapter), and an external mouse with three buttons and a scroll wheel. Students should know any passwords required to access the internet and download free software. Students need an email address, and should know how to log in and check email during class.
